Sonify Hearing and any affiliated entities (“Sonify Hearing”, “we”, “us”) are committed to respecting the privacy rights of all visitors and users of our Sonify Hearing website www.sonifyhearing.com (the “Site”), online store, mobile apps (the “App”), and hearing devices (collectively, the “Products and Services”).  This statement explains our information practices. By using Sonify Hearing Products and Services, you acknowledge that you agree with this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with this Privacy Policy, please do not provide us with any Personal Information (as defined below), and please refrain from using our Products and Services.

Personal Information Collected

Sonify Hearing collects information you may provide us through our Products and Services. Sonify Hearing and its Products and Services may also collect information about app usage, duration of use in each program, and listening environment sound pressure level and classification type.

Sonify Hearing may use your Personal Information to provide, and to communicate with you about our Products and Services.  Sonify Hearing may transfer this Personal Information, as well as other information collected on its Site or its App, to outside contractors, auditors, consultants, or others engaged by Sonify Hearing to assist in providing financial or operational activities on Sonify Hearing’s behalf, including technical and processing services and analysis of Products and Services performance.

Occasionally your Personal Information may be used for sending communications to you in relation to the Products and Services provided by Sonify Hearing. Sonify Hearing may use “cookies”, or small text files that are stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies ensure that our Site’s content is presented most effectively for you and your computer. While we use cookies, we do not track our users across websites or over time. Sonify Hearing’s Site currently does not recognize the various web browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Google Analytics

Sonify Hearing may use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of our site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often visitors visit this Site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this Site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this Site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this Site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Security Methods

Sonify Hearing has implemented commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your Personal Information, including a secure firewall and use of security infrastructure. As an additional security measure, your Personal Information is also encrypted during transmission using SSL security, an industry standard secure technology. SSL encryption is indicated on your Web browser by the display of a lock or key on the browser status bar. Nonetheless, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Children

Sonify Hearing does not knowingly or specifically collect Personal Information from children (visitors under the age of 18) and no one under age 18 is authorized to submit any information, including Personal Information by using our Products and Services. Parents or legal guardians of children under age 18 cannot agree to these terms on their behalf. If it is determined that such information has been inadvertently collected on anyone under the age of 18, we shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that such information is deleted from our system’s database.

Links to Other Websites

The Sonify Hearing Site may contain links to other websites with information we believe may be interesting. We do not endorse these sites. While we try to link only to websites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content of the sites or privacy practices employed by other sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of each site you visit that may collect information or ask you to disclose Personal Information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected on external websites that may be linked to or through the Sonify Hearing Site.

All the information that you provide to Sonify Hearing will be stored and processed in the United States. While you may access our Products and Services from a location outside of the United States, you agree not to transfer any of your information to us from outside the United States.
